Sweet Sautéed Apples
A simple dessert sweetened with ama-koji
Ingredients (2 Servings)
1 large apple
1½ tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons ama-koji
- Cut the apple into 5mm rounds. Remove the seeds with a toothpick.
- Melt the butter in a skillet and add the apples. Cook on each side until lightly browned.
- Add the ama-koji and cook on a low heat to coat the apples.
- Remove from pan, arrange on a plate and sprinkle with cinnamon.
